Nox Novacula bring some moody delight to Triple B’s – DTLV!

Hailing from Seattle, Washington, Nox Novacula brought their dark melodies and vigorous
energy to the glittering city that never sleeps, Las Vegas Nevada. They graced the stage of
Backstage Bar and Billiards with conviction ready to entertain everyone in attendance.
From the first notes of “Plague” people were hooked to their sound. Throughout the set,
fans and new fans alike were continually engaged in their performance as their stage
presence is incredible. Charlotte’s engagement with the crowd was prominent throughout
allowing everyone to feel like they were part of an experience rather than just a spectator.
People were smiling and dancing throughout the entire show. A truly fantastic experience
for fans old and new. Hopefully we will see Nox Novacula headlining their own tour soon!

By Mary Bodimer

Mary is a concert and event photographer. Born and raised just outside the Mile High City, her photography career (Spooky Shutter) began in Denver, Colorado. While growing up, her family exposed her to all genres of music, and it became a staple in her life. Coincidingly, her mother was very much into photography. Mary picked up her first camera at four years old and her parents embraced her natural talent. To this day she credits her love of music and photography to her family. She is passionate about capturing the raw energy, passion, and connections with fans during live shows, describing it as “art capturing art”. While she now calls Sin City home, she travels back to Denver and across the country to shoot shows and events wherever she is needed. Photography is her staple, but when she’s not shooting, she can be found spending time with her family (including her “army of animals”), writing, playing music, crafting oddities, doing animal advocacy work, or working on her hearse with her husband. Mary is no longer on staff with ZRockR and we wish her all the best in her work as a photographer with Spooky Shutter!
