“Rock and Roll Pneumonia” hit Las Vegas’ own electric avenue, Fremont Street, with a concert by legendary Sebastian Bach. People began funneling through security over an hour before showtime to partake in this epic event. At 9:00pm, the lights came up and band members began making their way to the stage. A thunderous roar erupted from the crowd when Sebastian took the stage and belted into “What Do I Got To Lose” off of the 2024 album “Child Within The Man”.

The 1980’s replaced moments of 2024 when Skid Row ballads such as “18 and Life”, and “Youth Gone Wild” bellowed down Fremont Street. With every note and every chord, fans were transported to another time and Sebastian was at the wheel of the time machine. Intermixed within their set included songs spanning his entire musical career.

“Everybody Bleeds” wraps up and the unmistakable sounds of Rush’s “Tom Sawyer” bellows from the speakers and transitions into “Monkey Business”. Immediately following, Sebastian then begins singing Firehouse’s “Love of a Lifetime” chorus and prompts the crowd to cheer for C.J. Snare, the singer of Firehouse who passed away in April of this year. He then mentions Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters, Chris Cornell of Soundgarden, Cliff Burton of Metallica, Dimebag Darrel and Vinnie Paul (who once lived in our city) of Pantera, and Ronnie James Dio and sings the chorus of  “Heaven and Hell” by Dio. “This next song is dedicated to friends, family and heroes that we have lost this is a song called I Remember You.”

The entire show will be an event that everyone in attendance will continue to remember. Every member of the band’s presence was iconic and profound. Trace Harrelson stole the end of the show by playing guitar on the catwalk with Sebastian. He may be young, but we will certainly be seeing more of him in the future.

Mary is a concert and event photographer. Born and raised just outside the Mile High City, her photography career (Spooky Shutter) began in Denver, Colorado. While growing up, her family exposed her to all genres of music, and it became a staple in her life. Coincidingly, her mother was very much into photography. Mary picked up her first camera at four years old and her parents embraced her natural talent. To this day she credits her love of music and photography to her family. She is passionate about capturing the raw energy, passion, and connections with fans during live shows, describing it as “art capturing art”. While she now calls Sin City home, she travels back to Denver and across the country to shoot shows and events wherever she is needed. Photography is her staple, but when she’s not shooting, she can be found spending time with her family (including her “army of animals”), writing, playing music, crafting oddities, doing animal advocacy work, or working on her hearse with her husband.
