“The Lord of Lard, The Mighty Swine”… <PIG> Return to Sin City For Some Debautchery At SinWave On The Heroin For The Damned Tour

October 18, 2024 – I am not sure what the capacity of SinWave is, but I am confident that we were nearing its max last night for PIG. While the opening bands played, more and more people packed in. Before I knew it, I was
stuck like a sardine in a can of industrial fans unable to move more than a couple of inches
in either direction.

The set was non-stop visual and auditory exhilaration, and the crowd ate every bit of it up. While due to the cramped nature, dancing was certainly not an option, people were bouncing up and down and singing along with every word. Raymond was thoroughly engaged with all fans within his sightline, and many were eager to take that connection in.

This was my first experience seeing PIG live and it was more than worth it. Admittedly, I was a bit tired when the first band took the stage, however by the end of PIG’s set I had more energy than I had the entire day proceeding.

If you are a fan of industrial music, I cannot stress enough that PIG is a show to see, you will not be disappointed! Just get there early enough to get a good spot before the sardine packing begins!

Mary is a concert and event photographer. Born and raised just outside the Mile High City, her photography career (Spooky Shutter) began in Denver, Colorado. While growing up, her family exposed her to all genres of music, and it became a staple in her life. Coincidingly, her mother was very much into photography. Mary picked up her first camera at four years old and her parents embraced her natural talent. To this day she credits her love of music and photography to her family. She is passionate about capturing the raw energy, passion, and connections with fans during live shows, describing it as “art capturing art”. While she now calls Sin City home, she travels back to Denver and across the country to shoot shows and events wherever she is needed. Photography is her staple, but when she’s not shooting, she can be found spending time with her family (including her “army of animals”), writing, playing music, crafting oddities, doing animal advocacy work, or working on her hearse with her husband.
