Were you there to witness the ultimate Klash that the world famous, Hollywood Palladium experienced?!?! We were there and were ready to tell you about this epic night!

On October 26th, Hollyweird got weird with every metal head flocking to the city for Possesed, Kreator, and Testament in one room. This insane production has toured far and wide. Starting in Europe to North America to now ending their tour back in Europe. Have you caught any of the festivals or tour dates?

From the amazing stage production, to crew, to overall theatrics designed for the tour is one show not to be missed in the metal world of shows today.

It’s not everyday you see a curtain drop for not one, two, BUT three bands on a package! With insane set theatrics heightening the room for a special spooky season. How many bodies did you count on stage? Our guess is that you missed the hanging bodies in the air!!! Are they props or missbehaved crew members sent to the heavens to think about what they did….. Hmmmm or maybe a snack for the two room sized titans on stage. We will never know these answers to those poor souls that night but we do know the answers to what songs were played!

Possessed

Possessed started off the night at 6:50 with the merch lines already out the door to both stands. The night was not sold out but nonetheless, the room was still packed with bodies surfing each other. Giving security the run of their lives, or should we day lifts of their lives? Circle pits started at 6:50 on the dot.

Possessed playing songs like “Swing of the Axe”, “Demon”, “Death Metal”, and more. They played for about 35 minutes and we wish it was longer!!!! Possessed has been laying it down since 1982, making them the second band on the package from California.

Kreator

Kreator came out on stage with a literal bang of smoke! Curtains dropping, bodies flying, and Titans overlooking the room. It’s not everyday in the metal community we get to see set designs like this. Kreator is from Essen, Germany, but played as if Hollywood was their hometown show. They were the true headliners of the night. With their massive set design of hanging bodies, room sized Titans, and Co2 for days. This is one band not to miss. With epic showmanship to catchy songs that make the entire room lock in arms and dance. The band wasn’t even three songs in before they started a wall of death the size of the room. They know how to start a show. The room was at full volume for Kreator and the band ate it all up! Since Halloween was upon us, the crowd dressed to impress. Have you ever seen a mosh pit of dancing bananas to a German Thrash Metal band? We did and it was epic. With a pack hitting set full of bangers like,“Satan is Real”, “Phobia”, “Pleasure to Kill”, “Coma Of Souls”, “Violent Revolution” and more. It’s a beautiful site to see a room full of people screaming, “Violent revolution Violent revolution, Reason for the people to destroy”outloud together. The crowd begged and pleaded for a double encore as the band left the stage after their final 3 songs. The last time we saw Kreator it was 2018 and I think it’s safe to say, we want our own Kreator Headliner.

Testament

Since 1983 Testament has been killing it worldwide. Making them the second Norcal band of the bill. Testament dropped the curtains for the band to start out the epic ending of the night. The titans have left the stage and the Gods have shown up to rock. As we waited for frontman Chuck to make his appearance, the band let out a roar with their instruments leading the army of bodies to begin flying once more in the room. Hollywood Palladium is known for their hands on amazing security team. Not a body was dropped as photographers were mutually protected in the pit. We love a good show production staff!!! The second song in for the night and the entire room was a giant mosh pit with back circle pits in full action. Chuck Billy knows how to control the room while his band lays down the law. With pack full hits like, “The New Order”, “Alone In the Dark”,”Do or Die”, “Over The Wall”, “Into The Pit”, “The Haunting”, and more. Testament started the night at 9:40 and ended early by 10:55 before we all turned to pumpkins! How rotten of them!!! We wanted more!!!!

Who were you here to see on the tour? Let us know down in the comments!!! Did your favorite song get played? We know ours did!
