A Celebration of Sound: The Get Up Kids At The Glasshouse in Pomona! Last Tour Stop!

Celebrating 25 Years of Something To Write Home About And Playing It In Its Entirety!

March 8, 2023 – The Get Up Kids played their second night at Glasshouse Pomona, and it was an amazing experience. Fans are all excited to hear the band that had been a big part of their lives. As people mingled before the concert, you could see familiar faces sharing laughs and stories. It was a friendly gathering filled with anticipation.

Performance:
 When the band started with “Holiday,” the crowd went wild. Matt Pryor connected with everyone through his stage presence, and it felt like we were all part of something special. Everyone sang along to classics like “Action & Action” and “Valentine” creating a joyful noise.

Highlights:
 A standout moment was when they performed “I’ll Catch You.” The room was filled with nostalgia, reminding us all of the impact their music has had on our lives. They also surprised us with a couple of new songs, which got everyone excited about what’s next for the band. Closing with “Don’t Hate Me” had the crowd singing together, a perfect way to end the night.

Conclusion: 
The Get Up Kids’ second night at Glasshouse Pomona was a heartwarming celebration of music and community. It reminded us all how powerful music can be in bringing people together. Leaving the venue, everyone was smiling and chatting about the memories they just made. We can only hope they come back soon; we’ll definitely be there!
