Saturday, April 12 th , My Morning Jacket is bringing their tour to The Pavilion at Toyota in
Dallas, TX and I will not be doing my best to contain my excitement! This band dropped
onto my radar a couple years ago and when I perused their discography I was so
pleasantly delighted by the instrumentation and lyrical cleverness I uncovered in every
single album.
The American rock group has been releasing music since 1999. They released their
highly anticipated 15 th studio album this year titled “is.” These guys make groovy, rock ‘n
roll, psychedelic tunes that transport one to summertime in the 70’s while somehow
keeping the sound current. It is real artistry that is difficult to mimic or find elsewhere
these days.
