April 11, 2025 – As a dedicated metal fan and someone who has seen Trivium and Bullet For My Valentine before, attending “The Poisoned Ascendancy Tour” at a packed YouTube Theater was an experience I had eagerly anticipated. This special tour celebrated the 20th anniversaries of Bullet For My Valentine’s debut album “The Poison” and Trivium’s “Ascendancy.” Both albums are landmarks that helped elevate these bands to stardom, making this tour a significant moment for every fan in attendance.

Opening Act: August Burns Red

The night started with a bang as August Burns Red took the stage. Their energy was amazing, and lead singer Jake Luhrs connected with the crowd right away. He encouraged everyone to sing and get involved, and the excitement in the venue was contagious.

Frontman Matt Tuck immediately connected with the audience, thanking us for our support and sharing how much this night meant to them.

As they played through the classic tracks, nostalgia filled the air. Fans sang along to every word, creating a sense of togetherness and celebration. Bullet For My Valentine reminded us why they are still one of the top bands in metal.
