Operator please connect me to… October 3rd, 2025… the night that country music superstar, Randy Travis, graced the halls of the The Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, Texas. Continuing his “More Life Tour”, Randy Travis himself – along with his original band, and guest vocalist, James Dupre – took to the stage in a celebration of his endless influence, massive career, and in adoration of a superstar that just refuses to quit.

Randy suffered a stroke in 2013, leaving him in a life-altering condition that affected his speech and made it incredibly difficult to perform and tour. With a decade of healing behind him, endless support from his family and friends – and the entire industry cheering him on – Randy has been going all over the United States, seeing the country and the supporters that have been listening to him since day one. Only one problem seemed to stand in the way: how would he sing his songs? It wasn’t even a problem. Randy and his wife simply called on James Dupre to lend his voice to the performance, and the rest fell in place.

Randy and Dupre’s setlist was impressive, featuring 23 songs spanning nearly two hours
and hitting nearly every decade of Randy’s career:

Diggin Up Bones
Honky Tonk Moon
Deeper Than the Holler
1982
This Is Me
Look Heart, No Hands
Whisper My Name
More LIfe
Before You Kill Us All
Too Gone Too Long
He Walked On Water
Amazing Grace
It’s Just a Matter of Time
If I Didn’t Have You
Is It Still Over?
On the Other Hand
Hard Rock Bottom of Your Heart
I Told You So
Better Class of Losers
Where That Came From
Horses In Heaven
Three Wooden Crosses
Forever and Ever, Amen

Featuring a guest appearance from James Dupre’s six year old daughter on “Deeper Than the Holler” – and an impromptu dance break during “Forever and Ever, Amen”, the night was a massive hit, and a huge blast for the entire audience.
