Death to All Brings Legendary Metal Night to Vegas

Last Wednesday, just before Thanksgiving, I got to cover my first out-of-state show for ZRockR Magazine — and it was a night to remember. Death to All played at the House of Blues in Vegas, and they put on an incredible show. They did a tribute to Chuck Schuldiner and played songs from Spiritual Healing and Symbolic.

Death to All is made up of former Death guys and some other talented metal musicians who keep Schuldiner’s music alive with their live shows. They’ve toured all over the world before, and everyone always says how faithful they are to Death’s original sound. Seeing them last week was pretty special — you could tell how much they respect and love this music.

They just announced the Symbolic Healing tour, celebrating 35 years of Spiritual Healing and 30 years of Symbolic. It’s a cool chance for fans to hear those albums played live again.

The band had some of Death’s original members. Watching them on stage was crazy — you could really feel the passion they have for Schuldiner’s work.

The crowd was still huge and super pumped, even before Thanksgiving. Everyone was ready to mosh, sing along, and celebrate the music that changed metal forever. It was a powerful night, and I’ll definitely remember it for a long time.
