Toys For Tots ft. Drowning Pool & more in the heart of Deep Ellum, TX

December 5, 2025 – The night was filled with the Texas cold in the air and bright stars. In the legendary music venue Trees in Deep Ellum. With special guest Goodbye Kilter, Dead Sugar, Stareview and Drowning Pool.

To begin the night you had Goodbye Kilter to set the tone. These guys had the crowd moving with their mix of heavy rock/post hardcore sound.

Up next was my first time seeing this band called Dead Sugar. They had a dark but yet energetic, post-apocalyptic sound. I definitely liked them.

After Dead Sugar’s set you had the very popular band Stareview next. These guys crushed it. They definitely had the crowd feeling alive with their good melodies and big choruses.

And to end the night off right. Freshly back from their European run. And The Tonight’s Show performance a few months ago with Offset & J.I.D. You have Drowning Pool. And just like always they blew the roof off the building, for their hometown show. Every song the crowd was singing along too. So loud that Dave could hear it up there in the sky. He was definitely with all of us this night. To end their set you had all the bands from the night & the US Marines joining them for Bodies. It’s was definitely a beautiful moment to end the night for a great cause.

I'm Lance Brown out of Dallas, TX. I've been in stage production for a little over 11 year's now. I live behind the scenes in the music industry. One of my good friends Isaac Prouty that played for a few local bands. Got me into the music scene 20 years ago. And ever since then I've had a passion for it. Then about 11 year's ago I started writing for Zrockr Magazine. About the local metal scene. It was a blast. Then the passion just stopped for a few year's. But now I'm back home. As a contributing writer for Zrockr Magazine. So stay tuned in. We are coming to make some noise in Dfw (Dallas-Ft Worth) And if it's too loud. That's just too damn bad!!! \m/
