Friday March 25, 2022 we got a whole bunch of local goodness that is ADELITAS WAY, BRAVO DELTA and CRASHING WAYWARD out at the Hard Rock Cafe on the Las Vegas Strip. This was a home show for these local favorites. We know there were many things going on this last weekend and it’s hard to keep up, but if you weren’t there for this, I’m here to give you some highlights!
CRASHING WAYWARD
Opening up the show for us was CRASHING WAYWARD. This was the first time I’ve been able to see and really hear their music and I was not disappointed in the slightest. They gave off great energy, and the crowd seemed to be pretty receptive to them. The music sounded solid, and the guys have some pretty good chemistry on stage. I’m looking forward to what else these guys have coming up in the future!
Bravo Delta
Bravo Delta were up next! These guys are definitely a crowd favorite here in Vegas. I’ve been fortunate to catch them a few times through the years and they do not disappoint. They are yet another group of guys who have the passion and great stage chemistry. For this set, they had guitarist Michael James from THE NOCTURNAL AFFAIR come up on stage for a song, and that was definitely a cool highlight. I haven’t seen him perform in a while and it was just awesome to see him play again. (The Nocturnal Affair have just released a new album, and are getting ready to head out on tour with Fozzy. Bravo Delta guitarist Andy Ingraham is also a member of The Nocturnal Affair.)
ADELITAS WAY
And for our headliner, Adelitas Way! As I’ve mentioned before, HRC is my favorite place to see these guys. Between the lights and the sound to the intimacy that the venue provides, it’s all around just a perfect venue for them. While the guys made their way to the stage, “The Boys are Back in Town” by Thin Lizzy could be heard playing on the overhead, which was a perfect introduction, because they literally did just get back to town from being on tour! Clever, clever! As soon as they hit the stage they went straight into the song “Sick”, and then followed with “Stay Ready.” Throughout the set Rick cracks little jokes and sentiments, and this is something I kinda like about him.
Adelitas Way are completely independent and on Spotify alone they have about 1.5 million listeners. They regularly thank their dedicated fan base and I love that about them.

Again, I am never disappointed with Adelitas Way. They deliver a solid set every single time they perform and I have a lot of respect for them as musicians and as people.
As seen by the photos, guitarist Tavis Stanley is no longer performing with them due to personal obligations. They’ve got a fresh new face on guitar here (I am unsure of his name.) but I’d say he fits in well with their energy and charisma!

Goodnight, Las Vegas.
At the end of their set, bassist Andrew Cushing made a sentiment and paid respects to Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins; who we found out during this show had passed away and caused shock and sadness throughout the music world.
Later on after this show we saw many people and musicians paying their respect and sending their love and support to Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters. It was a beautiful outpouring of love.
