Pulsar Presents Brings Wingtips To Vegas At Swan Dive In The Arts District!

The Chicago post-punk duo, Wingtips, has been spreading their sound throughout North America on their “On Trial” tour. On Friday, November 15, 2024, they took to the stage in Las Vegas, Nevada at Swan Dive LV.

While us Las Vegans were finding ourselves incredibly cold as the temperatures plummeted, Wingtips was sure to warm up everyone who was in attendance. Our chilly bones warmed up with every note as nearly everyone was found dancing on the floor. For a band consisting of two people, the energy they expel surpasses that of many bands I have witnessed with far more members.

Both Vincent and Hannah are exceptional masters of their craft. They elude a confidence that is both contagious and hypnotic. Personally, I appreciate their energetic stage presence. Both Vincent and Hannah are wildly expressive and engaging to watch. With only a few more dates remaining on their tour, if you have not secured your tickets yet, I suggest you do so! You will not be disappointed.

By Mary Bodimer

Mary is a concert and event photographer. Born and raised just outside the Mile High City, her photography career (Spooky Shutter) began in Denver, Colorado. While growing up, her family exposed her to all genres of music, and it became a staple in her life. Coincidingly, her mother was very much into photography. Mary picked up her first camera at four years old and her parents embraced her natural talent. To this day she credits her love of music and photography to her family. She is passionate about capturing the raw energy, passion, and connections with fans during live shows, describing it as “art capturing art”. While she now calls Sin City home, she travels back to Denver and across the country to shoot shows and events wherever she is needed. Photography is her staple, but when she’s not shooting, she can be found spending time with her family (including her “army of animals”), writing, playing music, crafting oddities, doing animal advocacy work, or working on her hearse with her husband.
