GOLDFINGER – Unforgettable Night at the Hollywood Palladium

August 22, 2026 at the Hollywood Palladium was one to remember. The place was packed with people ready to have a good time, and the bands brought everything they had. It started off with Sullvn, who got the energy going right away with their gritty, raw sound. Short and punchy just what you want to start a night like this.

Pulley came on next and kept the vibe going with some melodic punk that had everyone singing along. Then Suicide Machines took it up a notch with an explosive set.. Tons of fast, loud punk with gritty vocals, and enough mosh pits to go around.

Vandal finished up the opening acts with a fierce, in-your-face performance that had the whole room feeling hyped. The energy was building and everyone knew the main act was about to take things even higher.

Finally, at 9:30, Goldfinger hit the stage and immediately took control. From the first song — “Spokesman” — it was pure chaos in the best way. The crowd was singing, jumping, and just losing it. I even got up, threw my hands in the air, and managed to crowd surf a few times.. The energy in the room was insane.

They kept the hits coming with “Get Up,” “Counting the Days,” and “A Million Miles,” and the crowd was totally into it. El Hefe came out for “Open Your Eyes” and “Linoleum,” adding his signature touch. Later, Aaron Barrett joined for “Sell Out,” a Reel Big Fish cover — they hadn’t played that live since 2018, so that was a real treat. He also performed “Superman,” which got everyone nostalgic.

One of the coolest moments was when the original lineup of Goldfinger — Feldman, Paulson, Williams, and Pfeiffer — played “Anxiety” together for the first time in years. The whole band was firing on all cylinders, and the energy was contagious.

They wrapped things up with “Answers” and “Mable,” and after that, the crowd just kept cheering. The encore was a lively version of “99 Red Balloons,” and everyone was singing along, hands in the air. It was loud, wild, and exactly what a punk show should be.
Honestly, I probably crowd surfed more last night than I ever have — the whole room was just so alive. It was one of those nights where everyone left feeling like they’d been part of something special. Can’t wait for the next one.
