What seems to be an interesting mashup is getting great reviews. Rock and roll legends Elvis Costello and Blondie have teamed up for a co-headlining tour.
The 13 date run launched just a few days ago. Luckily, it’s hitting Las Vegas’ Pearl Concert Theater on August 1st.
The Tour So Far.
Setlists from the Bethel, NY and Uncasville, CT shows have showed both artists playing some of their earliest tunes.
Aside from songs from their early years, newer tracks have been played as well. Most surprisingly though, Blondie did a cover of the recent Lil Nas X hit “Old Town Road”.
Fans who have attended the first two shows have been quoted saying both artists “still have it”, even after their 40+ year careers. Age and health scares are not slowing these two down any time soon!
