Did you know that Fremont Street Experience in DTLV hosts a series of awesome concerts all summer long every year? Oh yeah, and they’re all FREE! The iconic ‘Downtown Rocks’ concert series has been a highly anticipated since its launch in the early 2010’s. We’ve seen the likes of Good Charlotte, Boys Like Girls, All American Rejects, Eve 6, Vince Neil of Mötley Crüe, Sebastian Bach, The Cult, Filter, and so many other great artists from the years. However, tonight, it was Seether’s turn to return to shiny stage on 3rd street.
Fremont street rocked with anticipation as the sea of people watched Seether take stage. Seether is no stranger to Vegas nightlife, as they have been one of the most consistent to artists to be featured as part of the ‘Downtown Rocks’ concert series. I’m fact, they’ve been playing for the fine of people of downtown LV since the early 2010’s when it was still called the “Rock of Summer” concert series! I’m fact, Seether headlined the Labor Day weekend portion of the series back in 2022. Needless to say, we’ve been STOKED for their return to the valley.
Seether started with a BANG as they came out and played one of the punchiest songs on their discography, ‘Gasoline’. I’m telling you, that guitar riff ripped SO HARD echoing throughout Fremont Street. I gotta shout out the sound crew for this show, as every element of the band was incredibly crisp, and the drums just absolutely pounded you into the concrete.
The energy of the show only got bigger as the show went on, as Seether continued to just play ripper after ripper. Their setlist included classic hits like ‘Broken’, ‘Country Song’, and ‘Fine Again’. The crowd sang back to every song while head banging with their horns high in the sky. Seether closed out their already lively set with their biggest hits ‘Fake It’ and ‘Remedy’.
This crowd was MASSIVE! People of all different ages, races, and genders were gathered to experience a night with one of the greatest rock bands around. FOR FREE! Hosting awesome free shows like this for locals and tourists from all over the world is just one of the things I love the most about our fabulous city of Las Vegas.
