Lords of Acid are Coming to Town Every so often, my dad will remind me about the existence of the 1988 cult-classic album, Lust by Lords of Acid. Well, now it gets to be my turn to hand out the reminders, because Lords of Acid are coming to town! All hail the Lords of Acid as they prepare to roll out their upcoming nation-wide tour throughout the whole of North America. Most importantly for my fellow San Antonio readers, Lords of Acid are bringing the electronic dance party to the Vibes Event Center on June 20th, courtesy of Twin Productions. Celebrating such albums as Lust,Voodoo-U, Our Little Secret, and Pretty in Kink, the Praise the Lords Tour is going to rock your world and melt your brain, so be sure to show up.
This tour will be historic for the band, as it’s their first major tour since the passing of vocalist, Ruth McArdle, in 2024. Joining the band as the new frontwoman of the group is Carla Harvey, former vocalist of hard-rock act, Butcher Babies, and famous grief counselor. This will be Carla’s first tour with the band, and the fans are dying to see her work her magic as she tackles such a historic and influential setlist. Joining Lords of Acid will be female rock performance act, Little Miss Nasty, and a solo performance from Lucia Cifarelli of KMFDM fame. Get your tickets to their Vibes Event Center performance, NOW!
