Rock and Roll Church – Brunch and Headbanging at the Tuscany Copa Room!

Rock and Roll Church took place at the Copa Room at the Tuscany Hotel and Casino Sunday, June 28, 2026.

There’s no shortage of entertainment in Las Vegas, and Sin City certainly delivers when it comes to rock and roll. The Tuscany’s Copa Room, a venue that’s continued to step up their game when it comes to rock and metal sounds, continues to deliver the goods. The last Sunday of every month is Rock and Roll Church (AKA Rock and Roll Brunch), an opportunity for headbangers in Las Vegas to attend a rare midday rock show while indulging in a fantastic brunch buffet.

Attendees to the event have the option of paying a small cover for admission, or purchasing the buffet and/or bottomless mimosas. In a town where dining of any kind has gotten quite pricey, being able to get a more affordable buffet with an accompanying show is a breath of fresh air!

The Rock and Roll Church band features vocalist Andrew Freeman, bassist Barry Barnes, guitarist Christian Brady, and drummer Shon McKee. To anyone who resides in or frequently visits Vegas, these names will be immediately familiar, and in the best of ways. Their stage chemistry musically is great, but the quartet isn’t afraid to make wisecracks at the expense of one another, or “laugh it off” if there’s a flub in the performance. I’d rather see a real band who makes the occasional mistake than a show that’s nothing but flawless backing tracks. It’s moments like this that make rock and roll fun and interesting. I was banging my head, but their antics had me laughing pretty good too.

The Rock and Roll Church setlists are always quite the diverse mixture, featuring everything from Van Halen to Audioslave! There are many decades of rock and roll to pull tracks from a setlist from, and these guys know it. A few of these songs have sort of become “standards” for the Rock and Roll Church gigs; one of my personal favorites is Mr. Big’s 1989 anthem, Addicted to That Rush. The band humorously joked that they were going to try their hand at a few new songs they hadn’t place, also admitted they don’t rehearse, but they sounded great to me. Plenty of fans were in the venue for this midday performance, with even Stoney Curtis attending!

This was a great day of rock and roll with a great brunch to top it all off! The Tuscany has pushed themselves to be one of the ideal spots in Sin City for hosting rock shows, and these monthly Rock and Roll Church (AKA Rock and Roll Brunch) gigs are a great way to have a good time with a great live band while enjoying a fairly priced meal, which is a rarity these days. Fans of rock who want to catch a great midday gig would serve themselves well in checking out the next Rock and Roll Church show at Tuscany, slated for the end of July!
