Violent Femmes returned to Las Vegas’ Brooklyn Bowl on May 3, 2019, delivering just as amazing of a set as any.
The band, comprised of Gordon Gano, Brian Ritchie, and John Sparrow delivered song after song, keeping the audience energetic and dancing the entire night.
The Violent Femmes even played their biggest hits “Blister in the Sun” and “Add It Up”, which they’ve been known to sometimes leave out. Hell, wouldn’t you get sick of doing the same song over and over for decades? Of course though, these were the biggest screams from the audience that night, but there was still a good chunk of folks singing and dancing to others.
It has been 30+ years since Violent Femmes creation, and yet they still attract folks of all ages to their shows, proving that while they may not come out of the woodwork often, they are still one of the best bands to see live.
