Sunday nights are usually viewed as a night to prepare for your week ahead. Thousands of people in Las Vegas viewed Sunday, September 8th differently. They gathered at the MGM’s Garden Arena to spend it with one of Las Vegas’ Hometown Bands, Five Finger Death Punch.
At 9:30pm they took to the stage following Marilyn Manson. The stage lit up with an array of lights which gave the neon lights of The Strip a run for its money. The entire arena was lit up, with a light show that drew you in making you feel as if you were a part of the show. However, one family became a part of the show in a literal way. Spotted in the front of the pit, Ivan called out to some kids he noticed as the face paint on their faces grabbed his attention. He then invited the entire family on stage to continue to watch the show on stage with them. They were greeted with hugs and taken to designated spot just for them.
During “Sham Pain”, Ivan stood at the front of the stage bearing their Five Finger Death Punch American Capitalist five-dollar bills and fanned them into the crowd. Immediately following, the confetti cannons blew making it rain colorful paper over the fans.
There was never a lag or a dull moment through the entire set. The energy was so strong, excitement was beaming throughout. I would certainly rather spend a Sunday night with Five Finger Death Punch than meal-prepping for the next week!
