The Hurricane Herself Nita Strauss & More to Take on The Space in Las Vegas!

Nita Strauss will play The Space on Saturday, July 8, 2023, with support acts Mojave Sun and Lions at the Gate.

In recent years, Nita Strauss has made a name for herself as a kick-ass rock guitarist, impressing audiences across the globe with many different acts. While early on known as a guitarist for The Iron Maidens (an all-female Iron Maiden tribute), she truly came to the public eye when she joined the band of classic shock rocker Alice Cooper, certainly holding her own and rocking the world as only she can do.

But Ms. Strauss isn’t content to be a backing musician, and has had her share of solo material as well. Several solo songs recorded by Strauss in recent years, including “Dead Inside” and “Victorious,” have charted highly and further cemented her place in the world of rock and roll. Clearly this young lady isn’t hanging up her guitar anytime soon, much to the delight of rock fans.

The Space is one of the greatest spots to see a rock gig in Las Vegas, with a great showroom and small, intimate environment, making it a fantastic locale in which to experience Ms. Strauss’ live show. This gig’s not to be missed for rock fans!

A die-hard fan of classic rock and metal music, Taylor has been writing album and concert reviews since he was 16 years old, and continues to do so, having done well over 1,000 reviews. He is also a fan of video gaming and cinema, and has reviewed a number of games and films as well, old and new alike. His thorough and honest (some would say brutally honest) reviewing style has won him the respect of hundreds of music fans and musicians alike, both local and abroad, and the ire of just as many others. Despite being one of the youngest attendees at classic hard rock/metal shows around Vegas, he is also one of the most knowledgeable, having gained the unofficial nickname of “The Eddie Trunk of Las Vegas.” In addition to reviews, Taylor has written and self-published three books on classic hard rock bands, and is a regular participant in rock and roll trivia contests. Taylor also holds a masters degree in special education from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV), and has appeared on the hit History Channel television series Pawn Stars. His dream is to be able to one day make a living from writing music books and reviews.
