Aquabats, Aggrolites & Left Alone Coming to 24 Oxford in Las Vegas!

Aquacadets, assemble!! The Aquabats are coming back to Las Vegas for their Totally Real Tour after a long wait through COVID and a 2022 tour that skipped over Sin City, but even though we’ve made it through the worst of the contagion, there’s still a mask (and cape) mandate that hasn’t been lifted for this Supershow.

Our favorite superhero crew are coming back to the fimiliar grounds with a new name at 24 Oxford in The Virgin on July 14th, and although we’ll be a short walk away from the water, this is the only “Pool Party” we need for the summer heat in the desert.

Alongside the caped crusaders are none other than the legendary Aggrolites who just tore the dance floor apart with Roy Ellis at Punk Rock Bowling, and the fitting opener to help you pick it up, pick it up, pick it up for the rest of the night, Left Alone.

Since The Aquabats last show at Vinyl in 2019 we saw the realse of Kooky Spooky… In Stereo!, so we’re hoping for a scary good time with new jams to dance to, alongside classics that have drilled the way deep into our memory banks as the best dance songs in the world, and outer space!

Like every Aquabats show, it may be filled with punks reliving their drunken high school glory days of dancing around to The Return of the Aquabats, but these shows are for the kids, and MC Commander will always make sure they have a stellar time, he also may even bring them up for an on stage (and very very safe) circle pit. So bring the family out to 24 Oxford on July 14th and dance the night away with the very best!

By Vinnie Corcoran

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Vinnie has been around a variety of music his entire life. Early on he would love listening to show tunes from The Rat Pack with his grandpa and dancing around with his mom to her favorite disco hits from the 70's, but his life would change in 1999 when he borrowed a stack of cd's from his dad that included Led Zeppelin's II, Metallica's Ride the Lightning and Black Album, and Sublime's Greatest Hits. Armed with that music base and a newly revolutionized internet connection, Vinnie ventured in to the vast world of rock and roll and never looked back. In his teenage years he discovered the revolution of punk rock and still has not let it go, annually attending the Punk Rock Bowling festival and taking every chance he can to check out local and national acts at hole–in–the–wall venues during the week. Look for him near the pit or by the bar at your next show.
