Here’s To The Night! Eve6 Turns Sunset Station Inside Out And Made Us Look To Their Future!

May 17, 2025 – If you grew up screaming the words to “Inside Out” in your car or had “Here’s to the Night” on your high school graduation playlist, then seeing Eve 6 live in 2025 is kind of like catching up with an old friend—one who never really stopped being cool, just got weirder and maybe a little smarter.

At Club Madrid inside Sunset Station on Saturday, Eve 6 put on a show that was loud, loose, and so much fun. Frontman Max Collins still knows how to work a crowd, flipping between full-on goofball and dead-serious with a kind of self-aware charm. He’s the guy who’ll make a joke about the band’s one big hit and then absolutely crush that hit like it’s still 1998.

The setlist mixed old favorites with newer stuff from their more recent records. Tracks like “Black Nova” hit harder live, and even if some fans came mostly for the classics, the new songs landed well.

Musically, the band sounded sharp and well-rehearsed. Guitarist Jon Siebels delivered crunch and clarity, while drummer Ben Hilzinger brought tight, punchy energy to the set.

“Here’s to the Night” turned the venue into a singalong moment, with voices loud and hands high in the air.

They wrapped things up with “Inside Out,” which of course got the loudest response of the night, and “Superhero Girl.” There was no better way to close out an insanely fun set as the crowd sang every word in unison.

Eve 6 aged INCREDIBLY well and their live performance aged even better. I love that they carved some time out in the set for their newer stuff, and you could feel the passion they put into those songs. If Eve 6 is rolling through your town soon, you NEED TO SEE THEM!
