Classic Chaos played the Copa Room at the Tuscany Hotel and Casino on Saturday, May 9, 2026.
Leave it to the good folks at the Tuscany’s Copa Room to keep rock alive in the City of Sin! My thanks as always to the likes of Mike, Brian, Grayson, and Mitch for giving rock fans in Las Vegas a spot they can come on weekends and have a good time all around. Since stepping up their game with booking rock entertainment last year following the closure of Count’s Vamp’d. One of the bands that regularly played Vamp’d back in the day, both as a headliner and a support act, was Classic Chaos.
I hadn’t seen Classic Chaos since the Vamp’d days, so I was understandably delighted to hear that they’d be rocking the Tuscany’s Copa Room, where many of their peers have migrated to over the course of the past year or so. The quintet is a male/female mix (more women on stage performing rock music is always a good thing!), with the members being veterans of the local scene, having entertained rock fans in the valley for years.
What do you get at a Classic Chaos show? The simple answers is, a little bit of everything! This is one of those groups that clearly appreciates and loves all things rock and roll, covering a wide variety of eras. How many other bands play everything from Fastway to Jimmy Eat World? All the members of the group, in particular vocalist Tammy Lynn, bring enthusiasm to every stage they play. And you can tell they’re having fun entertaining the crowd. It wasn’t long into the show that the group had plenty of fans on the concert floor rocking out; this isn’t something always seen at the Tuscany gigs, which is often more of a “sit down” venue.
Classic Chaos’ setlists are essentially a rock jukebox on shuffle, and I do mean that in the best of ways. If a band plays cover songs (and there are a LOT of them in this town who do) they need to know a solid enough variety to play enough so that there’s something for everyone. Their sets are certainly diverse enough to meet this criteria, and it’s clear the musicians in the group mean business when it comes to the songs and the scene.
If you want a good night of widely diverse rock performed well on stage by some of Las Vegas’ best, Classic Chaos always delivers. It’s a band of reliable professionals who clearly have a good time what they’re doing, and I look forward to seeing them back at the Tuscany’s Copa Room in the future!
