The latest ROCK AND ROLL CHURCH gig at the Tuscany Hotel and Casino’s Copa Room took place on Sunday, October 25, 2026.

I’ve been a part of the Vegas music scene, as both a fan and a journalist, for many years. And my favorite day of the month is always the last Sunday… because that’s when fans and an all-star lineup of musicians unite for ROCK AND ROLL CHURCH, which combines a great brunch buffet with some fantastic rock covers spanning a wide variety of genres. Despite the name, it really has nothing to do with church or religion whatsoever. The Tuscany’s Copa Room has been the best spot in Vegas for rock since Vamp’d closed last year… so my continued thanks to the awesome crew keeping the hard and heavy sounds alive in Vegas, including Brian, Mike Grayson, and Mitch.

The ROCK AND ROLL CHURCH band consists of four Vegas favorites: Vocalist (and sometimes acoustic guitarist) Andrew Freeman, guitarist Christian Brady, bassist Barry Barnes, and drummer Shon McKee. If you’ve followed rock and roll in Sin City for any period of time, the odds are good you’ve seen these guys doing what they do best elsewhere and with other acts. These guys are world-class musicians, but they’re definitely not above wisecracks between songs that borderline on stand-up comedy. I’m not sure what your throat will hurt worse from after a ROCK AND ROLL CHURCH gig – singing along to these classic tunes… or laughing so damn hard. I know I did both this time around. The band also occasionally welcomes special guest. Last month’s show even had a guest appearance from classic Megadeth bassist David Ellefson!

It’s hard to find decently priced entertainment and meals in Sin City these days, but ROCK AND ROLL CHURCH delivers on both fronts. The brunch buffet menu differs slightly from month to month, but this month’s cuisine included breakfast potatoes, scrambled eggs, fried chicken breast with white gravy, and waffles with syrup, plus fruit, muffins, and fritters. This combined with a top-notch rock band is a win-win situation in this headbanger’s book!

The ROCK AND ROLL CHURCH setlists are some of the most diverse you’ll encounter at a live show of rock covers in Vegas. Where else will you hear Deep Purple’s “Highway Star” and Candlebox’s “You” played by the same musicians on the same stage? Unsurprisingly, they deliver the goods in fine form. Some highlights of this month’s set included Genesis’ “Turn It On Again,” Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here,” and the Beatles’ “Come Together,” the latter of which featuring Christian Brady on lead vocals.

ROCK AND ROLL CHURCH gigs often include guest stars, and this month was no exception. For a pair of Van Halen covers, the band on stage was joined by vocalist Drew Hart, another long-time Vegas rock scene staple, and guitarist Chris Cicchino! It’s always great to have additional talent take the stage, and these guys’ guest spot was certainly a highlight.

I said it once and I’ll say it again: ROCK AND ROLL CHURCH day, which is the last Sunday of every month, is my favorite day of the month. Period. Now and forever. I’ll definitely be back there next month… and if you’re a Vegas rock fan who wants to rock out and eat for an affordable price, you should be as well!
