Metallica will have a residency this fall at Las Vegas’ famed venue, Sphere.

The band made the announcement Wednesday through a news release. According to the document, the residency, which the band has dubbed “Life Burns Faster” will see the band perform eight dates at the facility in October: Oct. 1 and 3, Oct. 15 and 17, Oct. 22 and 24, and Oct. 29 and 31.

Tickets are available here.

Metallica drummer and co-founder Lars Ulrich discussed the upcoming residency in a prepared statement.

“About 12 seconds into the opening night of  Sphere with U2 back in ‘23, I thought ‘We have to do this, it’s completely uncharted territory!,” said Ulrich. “This residency gives us another chance to reinvent how we interact with our fans in a live setting. We are beyond excited to share this with the world in six months time, and way fuckin’ psyched to go next level!”

Metallica’s upcoming residency will be produced by Live Nation and presented by inKind.
