Ben Pithie- Staff Writer Australia: G’day rockers my names Ben and I’m from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. I love my Thrash but enjoy a lot of Classic and Hair metal too. My love for all things cool and heavy began when I was born and flew out of my Mothers uterus throwing up the devil horns then growing up to the likes of AC/DC, Kiss and Whitesnake which eventually evolved into various interests in ‘heavy’ music. We have an awesome metal scene here in Australia.. especially in Melbourne and especially on the Thrash side of things and I’ve been able to see just about all of my favorites from Iron Maiden to Motley Crue to Exodus to Ozzy and all things in between countless times. I’ve been lucky enough to spend some quality time with some of my idols in the likes of Metallica, Megadeth, Black Label Society, Death Angel and bump into countless others too! I bleed Heavy Metal and mainly work just to pay for gigs and support all things heavy both local and international. I’d love to move to Vegas one day and get right into the scene there which seems right up my alley. I’ll be dedicating a bit of time to this stuff around work and gigs and can’t wait to travel more and make more American friends that support the scene too. Cheers and Beers \m/
