It’s the most wonderful time of the year! No, not the Hallmark holiday with the fat dude in the red suit – MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND! That means Punk Rock Bowling & Music Festival!

It’s crazy to think that it’s already been about a year since we saw Billy Bragg, Madness, Devo, Gorilla Biscuits, 999, The Chats, and more at the Downtown Las Vegas Event Center. Now we are coming up quick on 2025, which is quickly proving to be one of the best lineups we’ve seen.

I mean, each night has something special about it with the headliners; as it is Social D’s FIRST ever PRB set, and sadly it will be Cock Sparrer’s last, but we also get a special treat with an entire Joy Division set by Peter Hook & the Light.

Returning this year will be the beloved Flag, The Damned, The Interrupters, The Adicts, and of course some others in the club show circuit like The Aggrolites, Adolescents, and Teenage Bottlerocket!

The best thing about PRB every year, aside from it being a big family reunion, is getting to discover new bands one may not have heard of as well. I’ve heard some great things about The Baboon Show, so I am really stoked to see how they are, and also excited to see Gen & the Degenerates make their PRB debut (we caught them at Shamrock Rebellion last year, and they kicked major ass).

2025 marks TEN DAMN YEARS that we’ve been at the festival, and although we still have to book our hotel for the weekend (if we don’t, no biggie, we live here, but it makes it a hell of a lot easier to get some rest), our cameras are dusted off, our Dr. Scholls are in our shoes (shut up, we aren’t young punks anymore), and we have our Liquid IV and sunscreen ready to beat the May sun!

General Admission and single day tickets are still available! Club show tickets are also available but are selling out FAST! You better get yours while you can! You can do so at the official Punk Rock Bowling website.

Stephanie " Stephy " Muzio (formerly Hayward) - Public Relations / Writer/ Photographer and Co-Founder of ZRockR Magazine Co-host of ZRockR Magazine LIVE! Stephy was raised on rock and roll. Originally from Illinois, Stephy is the daughter of an aspiring metal guitarist and a former rock n roll radio dj. Stephy’s first concert at the tender age of 8 was Rob Zombie at the original Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas, where she happily threw horns up and sang along to "Dragula" with the best of them ( she incidentally loves horror films too!) . She performed with the VGA choir at the 2007 Video Game Awards show at Mandalay Bay when it was hosted by Samuel L Jackson, sharing the stage with the likes of Foo Fighters as well as Kid Rock. An LVA alum, when she isn’t singing or playing herself (she plays a few different instruments), she is out in support of the local scene and at her friends gigs around the southwest and even when she is back home in Illinois! She has written as well as done some photography previously for a couple of smaller zines including Vegas SoundZ when it was in print. Stephy takes the adage of ” If it’s too loud that is just too damn bad! ” to heart- after all- she was raised around screaming guitars, thunderous drums, production studios and only Led Zeppelin and Nirvana played extremely loud would put her to sleep as a kid! Stephy is a large part of the backbone of ZRockR.
