Snow Tha Product – Dale Gas Tour hitting HOBLV

On May 6, 2022 SNOW THA PRODUCT will be returning to Las Vegas to perform at House of Blues inside the Mandalay Bay casino on her Dale Gas tour. The California based hip hop artist has not been to Sin City to perform since 2013! (Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, I could not find any dates anywhere after that general time period.) Her quick fire style is one of a kind, and in recent years she has incorporated her Mexican roots more with her intense Spanish bars, which is pretty cool.- Even if I can’t always understand it.

Now, Snow Tha Product may not satisfy the taste for a lot of our readers here. That’s perfectly okay. She’s been a little bit of an underground gem that a handful of my friends and I have been watching and keeping tabs on for years. I first found Snow on a Tech N9ne song titled, “So Dope” a little over ten years ago. I was drawn in immediately. Upon keeping up with her releases, I fell in love with the pure diversity in her music. She speaks about the added hustle as a female rapper, anxiety, about the hardships she’s endured as a mother, her struggles with trusting people; and then hypes it up with these BIG “fuck the haters” anthems..

Independent

Perhaps one of the best things about Snow Tha Product is the fact that she is completely independent. After once being signed to Atlantic (2012) and being unhappy with the result of her venture with them; she embarked on the independent train. The split happened near the end of 2018 and she has been self producing and recording with her team ever since. Her brother shoots a lot of her video and photo content. A handful of other family members run just about everything behind the scenes with her. From the shows, to the content, to the merch, Snow Tha Product literally does it all. She is the epitome of a successful independent artist. I believe a lot of independent artists should take notes and strive to push the way she has and does.

Who is this music for?

Snow Tha Product has stated the following as musical influences : Missy Elliott, Da Brat, Big Pun, Lauryn Hill, Aaliyah, Amy Winehouse, André 3000, Ludacris, Johnny Cash, Eminem, Busta Rhymes, 2Pac, Mac Dre, Tech N9ne, and Brotha Lynch Hung, as well as Mexican actress María Félix and singers Selena Quintanilla, Gloria Trevi and Lupita D’Alessio. I personally would recommend Snow to fans of Tech N9ne, Rittz (or anyone signed to Strange Music, really), Eminem, Kottonmouth Kings, or anyone who’s interested in female rappers outside of Nicki Minaj and Cardi B.

I am looking forward to seeing her live show, the footage I’ve seen is crazy and it really looks like a great big party with her main focus on the fans!
