On October 10, GWAR will be returning to the City of Sin for their “The Black Death Rager” tour. With them they will be bringing NEKROGOBLIKON and CROBOT.
There is no shortage of positive things to say about Crobot.(I have never seen them before, but I never hear anything bad about them! Always quite the opposite!) And I caught the end of Nekrogoblikon’s set at 2018’s Warped Tour, so I know they’re full of energy and due to be an absolute blast. Between the two openers there’s a good amount of contrast there between styles and overall stage operation.
Both Crobot and Nekrogoblikon are touring this run for their respective 2022 album cycles, have a looksee at what they’ve released recently below!
The last time we caught GWAR was downtown a few years back for a really awesome duel tour collision out at 601 Fremont. If you’ve never seen GWAR… firstly, you should get on that. Secondly, they always come with a show that is not easily forgettable. It’s not unusual to see fans in the front rows wearing white so they can take home a piece of the show in the form of all the fake blood and colored substances that get thrown from the stage.
As mentioned in past coverage, (and everywhere else honestly) GWAR are an American heavy metal band formed in Richmond, Virginia in 1984. They are composed of and operated by an endlessly rotating line-up of musicians, artists and filmmakers known as Slave Pit Inc. After the death of frontman and lead singer Dave Brockie in 2014, the group has continued without any of its founding members.
GWAR is also promoting a new album release this year with this tour. Check that shit out below! We look forward to these bands as they completely dominate and take over the Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas. For tickets and more info head on over to the Brooklyn Bowl event page HERE.
See you in the pit!
